Edward Seal

Edward Moyler Seal, 87, of Chesterfield, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2013. Born in Southampton County, he was the son of the late William T. and Debora Simmons Seal, and the widower of Harriet Eubank Seal. Mr. Seal was a member of Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church, and a United States Navy veteran. He was a retired District Supervisor with Dominion Virginia Power. He is survived by his daughter, Kathryn S. Nicely and husband, Perry W. of Chesterfield; two grandsons, Edward Shane Nicely and wife, Dara Goodman Nicely of Ashland, and Shawn Jackson Nicely of McKenney; three great-grandchildren, Emily Ann Carol Nicely, David Edward Nicely, and Brette Katherine Nicely. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend David Prather officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George.
