Edwin Debose

Edwin C. DeBose, Ed, 80, of Carson, Virginia passed away February 24, 2021. He was born January 12, 1941 in Burgaw, North Carolina to the late Civie Lee and Dollie Mae Wells DeBose, and was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. At the age of 17, he joined the Navy and was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia where he met the love of his life, Betty Ann Ange to whom he was married for over 60 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, loved to garden, and all types of yardwork, construction equipment but especially backhoes. He is survived by his wife, Betty DeBose; daughter, Susan Glazier (Frank); sons, Mike DeBose (Claudia), Kenny DeBose and Rusty DeBose (Gwen); six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Laurie DeBose of Wilmington, North Carolina; and a host of other relatives. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 6, 2021 in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805.
