Elfriede Spratley

Elfriede K. Spratley, 77, of Petersburg, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2009 at MCV Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Hans and Marguerite Haubermann Schwarzmann. Mrs. Spratley attended the Fort Lee Memorial Chapel. She is survived by her husband, James Spratley; a son, John Spratley of Petersburg; a sister, Lisa Riley of Los Angeles, California; five grandchildren, Yvonne, India, Angelica, Tabias, and Tamar Spratley; two sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2009 in the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road with Father Lou Ruoff, Celebrant. Interment Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Flowers are welcome.
