Elizabeth Yasenosky Ferruti, aged 92, formerly of Masontown, Pennsylvania, ended her struggle with Alzheimer's on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. After these many years, she joins her husband, Phillip, in eternal life. She is survived by her brother, Joseph Yasenosky and wife, Liz; sister, Irene Yasenosky with niece, Melani Zyla and husband, Luke; daughter, Charmaine Steve and husband, George, daughter, Joyce Navary and husband, Jim; grandchildren, Amanda Rowe and husband, Don, Phillip Steve and wife, Melanie, Jay Steve, Jill Navary, Jayne Jones and husband, Eric; great-grandchildren, Sophie Jones, Vivian Jones, Zander Jones and Fiona Jones; and countless nieces, nephews, and friends. During her life, Elizabeth was active in the Leckrone 4-H clubs providing summer learning activities for local youth. She could always be found helping out at St. Mary's Church in Leckrone, whether it was sewing, baking, cooking, or serving food at the church picnics. She was always organizing something for church, for the Grange, or for the family. Even during the last years of her struggle with Alzheimer's, she was trying to organize and direct the staff at the assisted living center. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2016 at St Ann Catholic Church, 17111 Jefferson Davis Hwy, South Chesterfield, Virginia, 23834. A funeral mass and burial will take place in Leckrone, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Ann Catholic Church Community Outreach for the Elderly.
