Elizabeth, 75, of Chester, VA passed away on July 8, 2018 after a hard fought battle with Parkinson's. Elizabeth was born to Millard Maples and Beatrice Reagan on July 10, 1942 in Tennessee. She was a devoted mother to her five children and cherished her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila Merica; beloved, Al Campbell; former husband, John Potter; granddaughter, Najwa Aljabri; daughter-in-law, Lucille Potter; and brothers, Gilbert, David and Mickey Maples, and Larry Reagan. She is survived by her five brothers Cliff and Bill Reagan, Paul, Mike, and Mark Maples; four children, Betty Aljabri (Hesham), John Potter Jr., Millard Potter (Karen), and Sarah McFadden (Martin); five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23805, on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 11:00am. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am. Flowers are welcome, or in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Elizabeth's honor to the Michael J.
