Elizabeth Riley

Elizabeth G. Riley, 85, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014 at the Hopewell Health Care Center. She was born August 24, 1929 to the late Heinrich and Magdalena Ferver Georg, and was the widow of William T. Riley. She is survived by her son, William A. Riley of Colonial Heights; grandchildren, Clinton A. Riley of Colonial Heights, Alecia Dopp and husband, James Jeffrey Dopp of Midlothian, and Shawna Huffman of Prince George; three great-grandchildren; several cousins; and a devoted friend, Frieda Jones. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 8, 2014 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park, Enon, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, September 7, 2014 at the funeral home.
