Colonial Heights

Elizabeth Ann Smith, 76, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025. Born November 28, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Bernice Mae Smith and Frank Curtis Reese, Sr., and was also preceded in death by her sons, Marti Eugene Smith and Phillip Darian Smith; brothers, Lawrence William Reese, Frankie Reese, Jr., Robert Lee Reese, Tommy Lee Reese; and sister, Virginia Mae Reese.

Elizabeth attended Harrowgate Worship Center, where she found fellowship and faith.

Elizabeth had a special place in her heart for children, finding joy in babysitting and caring for not only her own grandchildren but also for many others who became like family to her. Her kindness and nurturing spirit left a lasting impact on those she cared for.

She was an avid doll collector, cherishing each of her "babies" and finding comfort in their presence. Her collection was a reflection of the warmth and tenderness she shared with the world.

She is survived by her loving husband, Phillip Eugene Smith; daughter, Angela Smith Argueta and spouse, Jose; grandchildren, Justin Blake Rodriguez, Corey Phillip Smith, Sabina Denise Argueta; sister, Shirley R. Martinez and spouse, Juan; daughter-in-law, Deneen Lee Smith; numerous nieces, nephews, and all the children outside of her family that she cared for over the years.
