Ellen Ferguson

Ellen G. Ferguson, 45, of Richmond, passed away June 28, 2022. Ellen worked for Analytic Corporation, and part-time for the Grapevine restaurant in Richmond. She served her country in the United States Army and completed her B.S. in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005. Ellen ran track in high school and also enjoyed reading, crafts, horseback riding, and spending time with her family. She enjoyed furthering her education and was planning to pursue a graduate program. Ellen was wife of Fred Ferguson; loving mother of Sade, Keyanna, and Fred Jr.; beloved daughter of George and Karen Dixon; dear sister of Tom, Sam, and G. David; daughter-in-law of James and Lillian (Penny) Ferguson; and will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
