Emma Gibson

Emma Lee Gibson, 92, of Disputanta passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at her residence. Born April 22, 1924, she was the daughter of the late James and Emma Mcleary, and was also preceded in death by two daughters, Nancy Lee Perry and Linda May Early; and her five siblings. She is survived by her son, Ray Gibson; grandchildren, Tammy Eade, Lesa Gant, Lin Gibson, Brenda Tate, Junie Early and Jerry Early; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with the Reverend David Prather officiating. Interment will take place in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, Virginia.
