Emmett Wright

Wright, Emmett W., 84, of Chester, Virginia went home to be with the Lord on March 11, 2019. Emmett was a home builder in the Tri-City area for 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur W. and Delorene G. Wright; brother, Pete Wright and daughters, Tamara Lynn Schnarrs and April Patrice Brown. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Sallie S. Wright; daughters, Loren W. Edmonds and Valerie W. Rakes; son, Stephen W. Wright; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Emmett's life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with visitation beginning at 2 p.m. Interment will remain private.
