Erika Loy

Erika Paula Abt Loy, 85, of Petersburg, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2009 at Colonial Heights Health Care Center. Born in Mé�nchen, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Wilhelm Walter and Berta Dupp'e Abt. Mrs. Loy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Petersburg. She is survived by a son, Peter Joseph Loy and wife, Patricia G. Loy of Colonial Heights; a grandson, Jeremy B. Loy; brother, Walter Abt of Homburg, Germany; cousins, Rudi Schimpf and wife, Anita, and Dr. Hans Schimpf and wife, Annie. A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 10, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 151 W. Washington Street, Petersburg with Father Steve Antes, Celebrant. Interment to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church In Memory of Erika Paula Abt Loy.
