Ernest William Graham, 84, of Prince George, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at Chippenham Medical Center. He was born in Draper, North Carolina and was the son of the late Howard and Bessie Clark Graham. Mr. Graham was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Colonial Heights. He was a retired veteran in the United States Army where he was awarded the Purple Heart while serving in the Philippines, and was the former Owner/Operator of Do-Right Carpet in Colonial Heights. Mr. Graham is survived by his wife of 62 years, Esther T. Graham; children, Larry G. Graham (Susan) and Roger L. Graham (Alice) all of Florence, South Carolina, Jeff L. Graham (Carla) of Prince George, and Anthony R. "Tony" Graham (Pat) of Colonial Heights; grandchildren, Michael G. Graham (Susan), Craig L. Graham (Tiffany), Brad Graham (Joy), Anthony R. Graham II (Carla), Jennifer L. Graham (Nick), Ashley E. Graham, Alexus Graham, and Aaron Graham; four great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2008 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Rev. Ray Haskett and the Rev. Andy Paul officiating. Interment Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
