Ernest Clyde Wray, 75, of Colonial Heights passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018. He was born in LaCrosse, Virginia to the late Davies "Buster" and Pearl Elizabeth Wray on March 17, 1943. Mr. Wray was a member of City Point Restoration Church of God. He was formerly employed by Wilson Trucking and retired from DSC Logistics in South Chesterfield. He loved racing and the beach, but above all loved his family and his church. He was preceded in death by his brothers, David W. Wray and Alphus J. Wray. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Cox Wray; daughters, Sandra L. Parker (Bert) and Jacqueline M. Wray; grandchildren, Ashley Davis and Lance Parker (Kristin); great-grandchildren, Lacy Davis and Aubrey Taylor; brother, Wilson J. Wray (Janice) and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 23, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to City of Refuge Hopewell Recovery Center, P.O.
