Ernestine Fetters

Ernestine Runge Fetters, 80, of Petersburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at her residence. Born in Edgewood, Texas she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Lora Palmer Runge. Ernie was a devoted member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and the New Adventures Sunday School Class. Mrs. Fetters is survived by her son, Steven Fetters and wife, Charlene of Grandy, North Carolina; a daughter, Lori Wallace and husband, Franklin of Colonial Heights; a brother, Hollis Runge and wife, Linda of Dallas, Oregon; four grandchildren, Jason Fetters and wife, Rebecca of Wooster, Ohio, Stephanie Ostrom and husband, Keith of Grandy, North Carolina, Ashley Newton of Chicago, Illinois and Katie Newton of Richmond; and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 3110 Greenwood Ave., Colonial Heights, Va. 23834 with the Reverend Dr. Andy Brockelman officiating. A celebration of life will take place in the social hall following the memorial service. Arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
