Ethel Wayner

Ethel Elizabeth "Bet" Wayner, 90, of Prince George, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2013. A native of Oregon Hill, Richmond, she was the daughter of the late Harry "Hun" and Ethel Preston Burch. Mrs. Wayner was a member of the Petersburg Seventh-day Adventist Church. She is survived by her husband, Joseph R. Wayner Sr.; children, Sandra Dunlap and husband, Johnny of Petersburg, Joe Wayner Jr. and wife, Carol of Somerset, Esther Dabney and husband, Norman of Yale, David Wayner and wife, Mary Carol of Prince George; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2013 in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 300 Poplar Drive, Petersburg, Virginia 23805, with Pastor Brandon Koleda officiating. Interment will follow in Prince George Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the Petersburg Chapel of the E.
