Eula Carr

June 20, 1925 — February 16, 2019

Eula Faison-Seitz Carr, 93, of Hopewell went to be with her heavenly family on Saturday, February 16, 2019. Born in Ivor, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Hendrix Cleveland and Susie Bell Faison, and was also preceded in death by her two husbands, Carl Seitz and Joseph Carr; two sons, Donald Seitz and Michael Seitz, Sr. and his wife, Catherine; and 11 brothers and sisters. As a longtime resident of Prince George County, Virginia, she was a member of the Hopewell Moose Lodge and the Women of the Moose. She is survived by two grandsons, Michael Seitz, Jr. (Chrissy) and Timothy Seitz (Adrianne); five great-grandchildren, Emma and Macy Seitz, and Kaylee, Kaleb, Kaiden Seitz; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday February 22, 2019 at the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23805. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
