Eunice Mapley

Eunice Johnson Mapley, 84, of Prince George, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Reuben L. and Bertha Fuller Johnson, and was preceded in death by three sisters, Lucy Engels, Beatrice Schultz & Ruby Turner; and two brothers, Phillip C. Johnson & Reuben Johnson. Mrs. Mapley was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church, Petersburg. She is survived by her husband, Harold T. Mapley; a sister, Annie Pacheco of Colonial Heights; and a brother, Richard H. Johnson of Prince George; numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road with the Reverend Andrew Ware and the Reverend Ron Pyler officiating. Entombment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the funeral home.
