Eunice Walker

Eunice Irene Walker, 88, of Danville, formerly of Colonial Heights, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2013. Born in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Alfred P. and Lillian Tolley Welcher, and the widow of George Lee Walker. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by two sons, Donnie and Tarris Walker; a sister, Margaret Morris and two brothers, Floyd and Wilmer Welcher. She was a member of the Chester Baptist Church, and the AARP. She is survived by a sister, Julia Agnes Rice and husband, Johnnie of Virgilina; and numerous nieces & nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2013 in the Union Christian Church, 8021 Florence Avenue, Virgilina, Virginia 24598 with Pastor Norman Talley officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2013 in Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W. Hundred Road, Chester, Virginia 23831 with the Reverend Lloyd Braswell officiating.
