Evelyn Hicks

Evelyn "Sally" Bottoms Hicks, 77, of South Chesterfield, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at her residence. Born in Chesterfield County, she was the daughter of the late Elton and Sarah Bell Bottoms and the widow of Jack B. Hicks. Mrs. Hicks was a member of the Swift Creek Baptist Church and retired as an Auditor / Tax Assessor. She is survived by a son, Darrell K. Hicks and wife, Kathy; two grandsons, Anthony "AJ" Hicks and Joseph Hicks; brothers, Phillip Bottoms and wife, Gertrude of Chesterfield and Tommy Bottoms, of McKenney; with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA with the Reverend Dr. Steve Felker, officiating. The family is being served by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory.
