Evelyn Stevens

Evelyn S. Stevens, 78, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Sunday, May 30 2010 at Retreat Hospital. Born in Chesterfield County, she was the daughter of the late Burgin B. and Margaret Goode Schrum. Mrs. Stevens was preceded in death by her husband, Alton J. Stevens. She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia S. Goodrich of Colonial Heights; a granddaughter, Alison Kelly and husband, Paul of Colonial Heights; a great-grandson, Brenden Michael Kelly; a brother, B. Wayne Schrum and wife, Dee of Chesterfield; nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2010 in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George with the Reverend Clay Boyd officiating. The procession will leave the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
