Everett Brooks, Jr.

Everett D. Brooks Jr., 82, was reunited with his sisters and baby brother Saturday, October 16, 2021. Mr. Brooks is survived by his companion, the love of his life, Joanne Brooks; his daughters, Yolonda Crowder and husband, William, Velvet King and husband, Christopher, Tina Kumar and husband, Sonny, Cindy Williams; his grandchildren, Justin Frazier, Ryan Crowder, Alexander Barr and Ann-Garland King; three beautiful great-granddaughters, Austin Frazier, Ellora Barr, Waverly Frazier; another great-grandchild due in May, Baby Crowder; best friend, Miss Myrtle Brooks; sisters, Thelma, Betty, and Vivian; and brothers, Dalmus Brooks, Charles Brooks, Rick Brooks, and Clyde Brooks.

Mr. Brooks will be fondly remembered as a faithful employee of Honeywell for 40 years. His laughter and his company will be missed by his family and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:45 p.m. on Monday, October 25, 2021 at the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S.
