Florence Munford

Florence Wilkerson Munford, 80, of Colonial Heights, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Nettie Kinker Wilkerson, and the widow of Cassie Munford. Mrs. Munford was a retired employee of Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company. Survivors include her son, Dennis James Munford; two brothers in-law, Walter S. Munford and Clarence Sheppard; sister in-law, Joyce Wilkerson; numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2012 in Sunset Memorial Park Chester, Virginia with the Reverend David Prather officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, February 13, 2012 from 7-8:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory 2033 Boulevard.
