Flossie Fore

Flossie Jane Fore, 87, previously of Colonial Heights, died Thursday, May 4, 2017 in Palm Harbor, Florida. She was born January 17, 1930, in Amelia County, Virginia, to Edwin and Nellie Yeatts. She married Gilbert Fore on October 3, 1948 and had a son Nicholas both of whom preceded her in death. Surviving are her sister Frances Harrison of Palm Harbor, FL, her brother James Yeatts of Richmond, VA, one sister and three brothers preceded her in death. Jane is also survived by many nieces and nephews who will miss her quick smile and loving nature. Jane was a long-time resident of Colonial Heights where she retired from Sears. Jane professed her love of Jesus Christ at an early age and was a member of First Baptist Church in Petersburg where she taught Sunday School and sat on many committees during her many years of service. Jane will always be remembered by those who knew her as a loving, caring person, devoted to her friends and family. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 on Friday, May 12, 2017 in the Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Robert Dawson officiating.
