Floyd "Butch" Spencer Wilson, Jr., 66 of Dinwiddie County, passed away on December 26, 2015 at his residence. Born in the Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Floyd Spencer, Sr. and Margaret Estelle Rawlings Wilson. Mr. Wilson had worked for the local 388 Carpenters Union for many years. Butch was a lifetime member of the Namozine Volunteer Fire and Rescue, and was also a 20 plus year member of Southside Virginia Police Karate Association as a 3rd Degree black belt. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Wilson; four children, Tina Wilson, Daniel Wilson, Angela Wilson Jackson and husband, Corey, and Alan Grissom; nine grandchildren, Taylen, Tabitha, Krysta, Hunter, Alli, Kylar, Liberty, Anthony and Shawn; one brother, Bruce Wilson and wife, Rose; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA, The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA, 23834.
