Frances Blackburn Frances V. Blackburn, 81, of Petersburg, Virginia passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was born in Maryland on December 2, 1932 to the late Robert Archibald and Grace Lippy. Mrs. Blackburn was also preceded in death by brother Bobby Archibald and sister Louise Burke. She is survived by her husband Herbert Blackburn, son Danny Blackburn, daughter Linda Reed, grandchildren Jenny Kramer and husband Eric, Pamela Goodrich and husband Jim, great-grandchildren Gideon Goodrich and Cody McClure, and brothers Joe Archibald and John Archibald. A memorial service will be held at 2 P. M. on Thursday, May 15, 2014 in the Petersburg chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23805 with Fr. Lou Ruoff officiating.
