Frances Campisi

Frances Campisi, 98, of Colonial Heights, VA passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at John Randolph Hospital. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Josephine Crescimanno Libassi; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Philip Campisi. Mrs. Campisi was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and was also an active member of the Colonial Heights Senior Center. She is survived by her one son, Peter C. Campisi of Colonial Heights, VA; a daughter, Donna Spampinato of Haymarket, VA; three grandchildren and spouses; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 17111 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Colonial Heights, VA 23834, with Fr. Lou Ruoff, celebrant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be held at a later date at Lloyd Cemetery in Highland, NY. The family is being served by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Alzheimer's Association, 4600 Cox Rd., Suite 130, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
