Frances Caverly

Frances Edwards Caverly, 98, of Matoaca, VA passed away on Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Dunlop House in Colonial Heights. Born in Prince George County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Comer and Bessie Norfleet Edwards; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Major Bill Caverly; a son, Danny Lee Caverly; two brothers, Robert and George Edwards; and a sister, Blanche Casper. Mrs. Caverly is survived by her daughter-in-law, Linda Caverly of Michigan; one grandson, Danny Lee Caverly, Jr. and wife, Patricia of Texas; a great-grandson, Colin Caverly also of Texas; a sister, Edythe Gill; and her loving and devoted caretakers, Herbert and Judy Gill, Olive Gill, David and Judy Gill, Richard and Ann Gill and Buddy and Brenda Edwards; and all her loving neighbors on Warren Ave. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at the Dunlop House for the love and care shown towards Mrs. Caverly.
