Frances Lang

Frances East Lang, 87, passed away at Chippenham Medical Center on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. Born to the late Ramie and Sarah Lettie East, Frances was a member of Greenwood Presbyterian Church and worked as a devoted Nurses' Aid for over 17 years at Colonial Heights Healthcare. Frances is survived by her Daughters, Mary Weaver (Larry) of S. Chesterfield, and Ann Scott of North Carolina; her sons, Jerry Lang of Chesterfield, Billy Lang (Shelia) of Chesterfield, and Brian Lang (Beverly) of Dinwiddie; seven grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. The family would also like to extend a special appreciation to Shelia Parlier, who was her loving and devoted caregiver. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at 11:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home (between 10-11:00 a.m.). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to The People's Gospel Hour, P.O. Box 1660 Halifax, Nova Scotia B3J 3A1 Canada.
