Frances Lanier

Frances Marie Lanier, 88, of Colonial Heights, died peacefully in her home on Friday, November 9, 2018. She was born on February 17, 1930 to the late William and Norvel Fore in Richmond, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Carlton Lanier and sons, Joseph Clinton Lanier and Perry Travis Lanier. Marie is survived by her children, Gerry K. Lanier (Doris), Michael R. Lanier (Dawn), Pamela J. Lanier and Yvette N. Lanier; grandchildren, Kiersten S. Lanier, Blake A. Thompson (Kiersten), Matthew N. Thompson, Kacey Jones and Bryan Jones (Eleana) and several great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805.
