Frances Jilek Rothenberger, 91, of Chester, formerly of Colonial Heights, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 11, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Emil August and Augusta Hasper Jilek. Mrs. Rothenberger was the widow of Raymond Raphial Rothenberger, and was preceded in death by a son, Maury Nixon Rothenberger; and a brother, Edwin Nixon Jilek. She was a retired employee from I.C.I. and Wal-Mart. Mrs. Rothenberger, beloved mother and grandmother, is survived by five daughters, Ms. Kay Miller, Ms. Barbara R. Ward, Mrs. Marcia R. Thompson and husband, Pat, Ms. Peggy R. Clark, and Mrs. Donna R. Clarke and husband, Bobby; a son, Ray R. Rothenberger and wife, Laurel all of Chesterfield; six grandsons, Donny Miller, Rick Thompson, Bryan Clark, Mike Rothenberger, David Clark, and Adam Clarke; four granddaughters, Tina Linsey, Marnie Saylor, Kari Kendall, and Angela Clarke; nine great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2010 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Jerome Hancock officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
