Franklin H. Bush, 95, of Chester, passed away Friday, December 20, 2019. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan on February 25, 1924 to the late Frank and Wilmah Bush. Mr. Bush was a member of Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church, Chester and the Methodist Men’s Club. He served his country during World War II in the United States Army Air Corp. He was also retired as an electrical engineer from J.E. Sirrine Company and was an avid NASCAR fan. Mr. Bush was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Kincaid Bush; and sons, Robert Raymond Bush and Todd Mitchell Bush. He is survived by his children, Deborah Sue Starke (James), Terry Lynn Bush (Linda F.), and Dorinda Marie Vaughan (E.C.); grandchildren, Nicholas Vaughan, Samantha Hicks, Miranda Munson, Ryan Everette Bush, Aaron Franklin Bush, Dewayne "DJ" Hughes, Jr., James W. Barnett & Veronica S. Barnett; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church, 17120 Jefferson Davis Highway, South Chesterfield, Virginia 23834. The family will begin receiving friends at the church at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church.
