Franklin Harris

Franklin “Neal” Harris, age 32, lost his battle with the demons of addiction on February 4, 2022. He left behind his devastated and heartbroken family, parents, Richard “Mason” and Brenda T. Harris; brother, Richard Mason “Bootie” Harris; sister, Abbigayle Johnson and her husband Keith; nephew, Luke Harris; nieces, Gabrielle Harris and Caroline Johnson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends and new ones. Neal was loved tremendously and will be missed greatly. He will not be defined by his addiction. He was the kindest, most caring, adventurous, and loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at 3 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. The family will receive guests at the funeral home beginning at 2 p.m., one hour prior to the service. As Neal would say, “you know that’s right, here we go”.
