Freddy Slingo

Fred Morgan Slingo, 62, of Chester, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Johnson Willis Medical Center. He was the son of the late Donald Alfred and Ethel Holbrook Slingo. Mr. Slingo was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He was also involved in extensive research of alternative medicines and became the founder of 21st Century Innovative Products. Fred is survived by his wife, Destiny Danyel; four sons, Eric & Casey Slingo of Illinois, and Shawn & Shane Danyel of Chester; three daughters, Courtenay Griffin of Richmond, Candace Teed of Richmond, and Hillary Slingo of Illinois; two brothers, Alfred Michael Slingo of Illinois, and Bob Slingo of New York; a sister, Joan Marie Pacula (Slingo) of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; eight grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
