Frederick Mccabe Jr.

Frederick Matthew McCabe, Jr., 69, passed away at CJW Medical Center in Richmond, VA on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. Born to the late Anna Rebecca and Frederick McCabe, Sr., Frederick was also preceded in death by his loving wife of over 40 years, Rhonda McCabe, and his brother, Butch. A long-haul truck driver for over 30 years, Frederick worked for several companies throughout his career. He was also fond of hunting and messing around with cars in his spare time. He is survived by his two children, Tina McCabe and Michael McCabe and his wife, Shannon; his granddaughters, Riley and Taylor McCabe; his sisters, Kay Baringer and Thelma Brown, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters in law. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, VA 23834. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the SPCA Animal Protection Organization in Frederick's memory. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
