Fredy Wheeler

Fredy S. Wheeler, 55, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at his residence. Born in Mannheim, Germany, he was the son of the late, Herbert J. Wheeler Sr. He was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Wheeler and a brother, Herbert J. Wheeler Jr. Mr. Wheeler attended St. Ann Catholic Church, was a veteran with the United States Air Force, and a Retired Correctional Counselor with the Federal Prison. He is survived by his sons, Jonathan (Stacie) Wheeler and Michael (LeAnne) Wheeler; a granddaughter, Madelyn Wheeler; his mother, Gisela Wheeler; a brother, Klaus (Isa) Wheeler; mother and father-in-law, Gloria and Antonio Reyes; sisters-in-law, Marta (Jon) Miner, Ali (Ralph) Hogan, Anna Marie Reyes, and Bianca Wheeler; several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 13, 2015 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 17111 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with Father Lou Ruoff, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday prior to the service at church.
