Gale Watts

Gale Diane Watts, 53, of Colonial Heights, died Monday, July 26, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Petersburg, and was the daughter of the late Robert H. Sr. and Mary Pruett Watts, and was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Wayne Watts. Gale was a Civil Service employee, and a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church. She is survived by her brother, Robert H. Watts Jr. and wife, Melissa of Chester; two sisters, Debbie L. and Linda C. Watts both of Colonial Heights; a nephew, Brendon Watts of Chester; one aunt and three uncles, Leona Perkins of Petersburg, Edward Pruett of Colonial Heights, Edwin Stray of Hope Mills, North Carolina, and Durky Barco of Martinsville, Va.; and numerous other family members. A funeral service will be Friday, July 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Colonial Heights Baptist Church, 17201 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Colonial Heights, 23834, with the Rev. Michael Osborne officiating. Interment Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends Thursday evening at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, from 7 to 8:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Crater Community Hospice, 3916 S.
