Gary Jones

Gary Michael Jones, 65, of South Chesterfield, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. He was born to Marion Lee and Mary Anne Jones on October 2, 1952. Gary was the former proprietor of Fiberglass Boat and Car Repair, Chesterfield County; belonged to Southern Nights Car Club, and Matoaca Sportsman Club; and enjoyed participating in NHRA Drag Racing, and Super Chevy Shows. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Anne Jones; and son, Michael Brandon Jones. He is survived by his father, Marion Lee Jones, of South Chesterfield; brother, Marion Lee Jones, Jr. (Betty Neville), of Colonial Heights; sister, Lisa Lynne Sullivan, of Ford, Virginia; four nephews; two nieces; and numerous cousins. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Butterwood United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2411 Darvills Rd., Blackstone, Virginia 23824. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl. Memphis, Tennessee 38105. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
