Gay Ritter

Gay Ritter, 54, went home to the Lord on Monday, December 5, 2011. Her husband, daughters, and sister were at her side. Gay was a nurse at the Crater Dialysis Center in Petersburg, Virginia for thirty-one years. She spent most of her life caring and taking care of others. She was dearly loved by family, friends, co-workers and patients. Gay is survived by her husband, Robin Ritter; two daughters, Amie Bagley, and Emily Patterson and husband, John; three grandchildren, John III, Nicholas, and Elizabeth Patterson; a sister, Kim Folke and husband, Skip; nephews, Wes and Ben Dacey; two step-children, Trey Ritter and wife, Amber, and Jessica Ritter. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2011 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening (tonight) from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
