Gaynelle Fore Hardman, 86, of Dinwiddie County, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 29, 2009. She was a member of Matoaca Baptist Church and a retired member of the Bitter Sweet Twigs at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Thomas Burney Hardman, her father and mother, Allen and Flossie Fore; a brother, Gilbert N. Fore; and two sisters, Margaret Lanier and Doris Beach. She liked to say she was the last of the four little Fores. Survivors include her daughter, Sandra W. Wyatt and her husband, Louis (Sonny); son, Burney E. Hardman and wife, Carolyn; three grandchildren, Thomas Craig Wright, Susan Wright Drinard and Tamra Hardman Ferreira; seven great-grandchildren; nephew, Herbert Lanier; and a sister-in-law, Jane Fore. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Colonial Heights chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Rev. Dr. James Birkitt and the Rev. Earl Daulton officiating. Interment to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George.
