George Lee Fuselier Sr., 86, of Petersburg, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at his residence. He was born November 2, 1926 to the late Leo and Amelia Fuselier, and was preceded in death by his wife of fifty seven years, Barbara C. Fuselier. Mr. Fuselier was a retired TSGT with the United States Air Force, having served during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 1614 Appomattox Assembly. He is survived by three sons, George L. Fuselier Jr. of Colonial Heights, Gary K. Fuselier and wife, Karen of Ellicott City, Maryland, and Glenn A. Fuselier Sr. and wife, Suzanne of Petersburg; six beloved grandchildren, George III, Ala, Austin, Shane, Connie, and Glenn Jr.; and a sister, Clarabelle Duplechin. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2013 in the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road with Father Lou Ruoff officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
