Georgia Lee Perkinson Beville, 94, of Colonial Heights passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017. Born March 12, 1922, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Edith Crocker Perkinson and birth mother, Eva Duck Perkinson, who passed away when she was four years old. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Oliver Beville; brothers, Julius Perkinson, H. Walter Bradshaw; and sister, Gertie M. Dowdy. Mrs. Beville worked as an assistant manager for Lerner Shops in Petersburg for over 20 years. She enjoyed crocheting and loved working in the yard on nice days. She is survived by her son, William Raymond Blank (Janice) of Colonial Heights; daughters, Susan C. Tatum (Richard) of Prince George, Patricia Beville Beltz (Terry) of Earlysville; grandchildren, Brian Dale Cooper of Prince George, William Mark Blank of Glen Allen, Amy Beltz Stevenson (Brian) of Thousand Oaks, California, Katherine Beltz Reunanen (Niko) of Oulu, Finland, Stephanie Marie Tatum of Prince George, Melissa Dawn Tatum of Disputanta; great-grandson, Bradley Dale Cooper, a student at NC State, and his mother, Leslie. The family would like to thank Dr. Randal West and his staff, especially Margaret, Laura and Lisa, and the staff at River View on the Appomattox, where she resided for the past couple of years. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 27, 2017 in Blandford Cemetery, 319 South Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23803, with the Reverend David Prather officiating. Those that wish to pay their respects to Mrs. Beville may do so throughout the day on Sunday, February 26, 2017 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
