Georgie Roddy

Georgie H. Roddy 68, of Colonial Heights, passed away peacefully at home on  Monday, July 12, 2021.  She was born August 1, 1952, to the late Robert and Nancy Burkholder Henry, and was the widow of Phillip E. Roddy.

Georgie was fondly known by many students and parents within the Colonial Heights School system as the infamous lunch lady. She continued her “love” of being in the kitchen as an employee of The American Legion Topside where she whipping out many meals and was a friend to everyone.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2021, at the American Legion Post 284, 505 Springdale Ave Colonial Heights, VA 23834 Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
