Gerald Blalock Sr.

Gerald Lee Blalock, Sr., 80, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020.  Born in Roxboro, North Carolina on December 5, 1940, he was the son of the late Luther L. and Lois Hicks Blalock, and was preceded in death by a brother, Lamberth Blalock.

Mr. Blalock proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard and retired from Honeywell with 35 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Ann Blalock; his son, Gerald Lee Blalock, Jr. (Angela); grandchildren, Kaylee, Austin, Brooklynn, Aleena, and Curtis; three brothers, L.L. Blalock, Wade and Barney Woodlief; numerous nieces & nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834, the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be private.
