Geraldine Blevins

Geraldine H. Blevins 76, of Colonial Heights, passed away Sunday March 11, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Alonza R. and Estelle Giles Hodges, the widow of Floyd Thomas Blevins; and was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Hodges. Mrs. Blevins was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church in Colonial Heights. She is survived by her children, Timothy A. Blevins of Richmond, Sharon Main of Colonial Heights, Jeffery S. Blevins and fiancée, Mary Smaltz of Colonial Heights; grandchildren, Diana Jandl and husband, Justin Crumpler of Bealeton, and Jordan Porter of Colonial Heights; two great-grandchildren, Ayla and Samuel Crumpler; a brother, Everett Julian Hodges and wife, Alice of Falls Church; and a sister-in-law, Betty Hodges of Alvin, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012 in Sunset Memorial Park Chester with the Reverend Dr. Ray Haskett officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Flowers welcome.
