Geraldine Traylor

Geraldine Sirry Traylor, 80, of South Chesterfield, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017. Born in Chesterfield, she was daughter of the late Eugene Samuel Sirry and Susie Avery Sirry and widow of J. Owen Traylor. She was a member of the Chesterfield Community Church and worked as a hairstylist from her home. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Traylor Kunze and husband, Frank of Williamsburg and Dina Traylor Milliner and husband, Douglas of Chesterfield; four grandchildren, Scott Kunze of Virginia Beach, Daniel Kunze of Williamsburg, Taylor Desmond and Isaac Desmond both of Chesterfield; a sister, Elizabeth Sirry Bishop of Shawnee, KS; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at Thursday 2:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Gale Kirkman officiating. Burial will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
