Geraldine Wohlhueter

Geraldine Kennedy Wohlhueter, 80, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2010. She was the widow of James R. Wohlhueter, and the daughter of the late Julian and Indie Poarch Kennedy. Mrs. Wohlhueter attended Highland United Methodist Church and was retired from Verizon. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Caroline Wohlhueter Carrington of Prince George and Mary Mayes of Minnesota; two nieces, Cathi Carrington Cleveland and husband, John of Prince George, and Ricki Malerich and husband Allan of Minnesota; four nephews, John Carrington and wife JoAnne, Tom Carrington and wife Jean, of Chesterfield, Richard Carrington and wife Patricia, of Prince George, Rusty Mayes and wife Brenda of Minnesota;; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. A graveside service will take place 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 1, 2010 in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg with the Reverend William Rawlings officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7-8:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
