Geraldine Yeatts

Geraldine Gray Yeatts, 87, of South Chesterfield, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Rodwell T. and Bessie Williamson Buchanan, and was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Coleman Yeatts. Mrs. Yeatts was a member of Matoaca Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, who was proud of raising her children and beloved grandchildren, and in her earlier years, used to string tobacco. She is survived by two daughters, Debra Ann Ricks (Ronnie) of Matoaca and Tina Marie Yeatts (Thomas E. Plaster Sr.) of Chester; a son, Ben C. Yeatts (Kimberly) of Dinwiddie; grandchildren, Steven Ricks, Benjamin James Yeatts, John Russell Yeatts, Jessie Coleman Plaster, Robin Ann Plaster, Donavan Cory Yeatts, Caroline Shenay Yeatts, John Thomas Plaster (Dana), Clarie Ann Plaster, Thomas Eddie Plaster Jr. and Thomas Perry Long; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Janet , Lilia, and Irma; and numerous nieces & nephews. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Crestview Memorial Park, 18599 US-1, La Crosse, Virginia 23930 with Chaplain David Martinez officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
