Gertrude Katherine Gresham Bradley of Colonial Heights passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Henrico Doctor's Hospital. She was a native of Petersburg, and the daughter of the late Julian Robertson Gresham Sr. and Janie Gertrude Chappell Gresham. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bolling Bradley and her two sons, William Bolling (Billy) Bradley Jr. and Robert Gresham (Bobby) Bradley. She was a piano teacher and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church for many years and served as the church pianist for more than fifty years. She was a former organist at Calvary Baptist Church and a former member of Oakhill Garden Club, pianist for Friday Bible Club for twenty years, and served as a publicity chairman for Muscular Dystrophy for twenty-five years. She is survived by a brother, Julian Robertson Gresham Jr. of Colonial Heights; a beloved niece, Sylvia Gresham Link and husband, Charles Link of Beaverdam; two great-nieces, Whitney Gershowitz and Courtney Link. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013 in Immanuel Baptist Church, 620 Lafayette Avenue, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Fred Adkins officiating. Interment to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
