Glenn Allen Browder, 86, of Petersburg passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at his home. Born May 1, 1938, he was the son of the late Ethelle Clarke and Alvin Lee Browder, Sr.
For over 15 years, Glenn was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church in Colonial Heights, where he found great joy in worship and fellowship. Glenn answered the call to missions, serving on three mission fields—Bolivia, Mexico, and Puerto Rico—where he dedicated his life to spreading the Gospel and equipping others for ministry. In Bolivia, he trained and educated individuals to become pastors, ensuring the continued growth of the church. His work in Mexico and Puerto Rico focused on preparing missionaries to adapt to foreign cultures and languages, offering them the tools to serve effectively. Additionally, he served as the Dean of Students at a local school in Puerto Rico, furthering his passion for education and mentorship. His dedication to teaching and guiding others helped countless individuals sustain and strengthen their churches.
Beyond his ministry, Glenn had a creative spirit and a love for craftsmanship. He enjoyed crafting and upholstering, turning his passion into a side business, This and That Creations, which he started with his brother. His skill and attention to detail brought beauty and functionality to many through his work.
