Gloria Davis

Gloria Bosher Davis, 84, of Colonial Heights, VA passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015. Born in Petersburg, VA she was the daughter of the late, Robert C. and Fannie Green Bosher; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Merle E. Davis, Sr.; two sisters, Pauline Watkins and Nora Cox; and one brother, Claiborne Bosher. Mrs. Davis loved to play bingo at the Colonial Heights American Legion. She is survived by her daughter, Linda S. Jones; two step-sons, Merle E. "Genie" Davis, Jr. & wife, Tricia and Robbie J. Davis and wife, Faith; five grandchildren, Keith Jones and wife, Tracie, Anthony, Christine, Kendall and Christopher Davis; three great-grandchildren, Keith Jr., Hannah and Berkley Jones; one brother, Carlton Bosher and wife, Caroline; a sister, Lillian Grubbs; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA.
